- Teri Hess came on as our Program Director and has hit the ground running! She is an immense asset to our team and we are so thankful for her character and skillset.
- We are wrapping up several small house projects to ensure the safetyand security of our staff and resident families. Watch FB and Instagramfor ways we could use your help to cross small things off our to-do list.
- We are hiring 7-8 part time staff so PLEASE share our website jobpostings with your family, friends, and churches! We cannot open ourdoors to families until we are fully staffed and while we may be in a verydifficult hiring climate nationwide, we KNOW God will continue to be ourpowerful provision. Contact us directly if you are interested in a paidposition. We will also have another Open Interview Saturday July 30thfrom 10:00 am-12:00 pm.
- Our 1st annual Color Fun Run/Walk Sept. 17th! There will be no registration the morning of the race, and the fee goes up after July, so register via our website soon! Let’s get doused in COLOR TOGETHER!
- We have a praise report and financial update. We are thrilled to share that many wonderful Foundations, families, and businesses have awarded us generous grant donations towards our Capital Campaign. In an astoundingly short time frame we are within striking distance of the FINISH LINE for our ENTIRE CAPITAL CAMPAIGN! We look forward to sharing more details soon, and are praying for the remaining funds to purchase the property outright. God has been SO generous through this community.We cannot thank each and every one of you enough!
- On a harder note, we are receiving emails DAILY from moms in desperatesituations. Each story is heartbreaking and we are anxious to offer themsome respite. Please pray for these women and their children.
- While we are working DILIGENTLY towards an opening, we also are waiting on God’s provision of staff and property clearances. We also need time to appropriately prepare staff and set policies and procedures in place. That being said we are adjusting our sites to Sept.1st as our hopeful opening day.
