Crisp air, brilliant colors, and yummy smells of all things apple and pumpkin! What a beautiful time of year to see our Creator all around us; including all the ways He continues to be with The Hagar House. We are thrilled to share that we have hired all our staff and we are meeting regularly to train and begin team building efforts. Pictured below is our first all staff training and we cannot tell you how moving it was to be in that room surrounded by the women God has specifically called to start this mission. Being fully staffed also means that we can now accept Resident Applications. We hope to be moving our first family in by November 1st.
Meet the Staff!
The house is nearly ready, with only minor details on the main and second floors. Our wonderful volunteers keep working on our to-do list. Miron Construction has generously donated their time and materials to install a 3rd story fire escape that will allow us to utilize the top level. Progress is already underway!
We have had a busy few months with events like:
- The Fonti’s (Furniture and Appliance Mart’s) Golf Fundraiser
- Covenant Community and Jehae Kim-Bixby hosted a beautiful piano concert fundraiser
- We held our 1st Annual Color Fun Run/Walk at Doepke Park with over 160 participants
- Our Ribbon Cutting and celebration

UPCOMING! Come join us Tuesday October 25th from 4:00-8:00pm at the Bridge Street Culvers. Hagar House staff will be serving your meals! A portion of the proceeds during that time will go to The Hagar House! Let’s make it their busiest night ever!!!
Lastly, we really do feel that we are standing on the precipice of generational transformation, and we could not do it without each and every one of you. You all have helped make this a reality. Thank you for all of your amazing support.
