Salvation in Christ
- All Are Sinners: The Bible teaches that all humans are sinners and fall short of God’s glory. Our good deeds cannot outweigh our sins.
- Christ’s Sacrifice: God loves us deeply. To make forgiveness and salvation possible, Jesus Christ, God’s Son, died on the cross as a complete sacrifice for our sins. He took upon Himself the judgment we deserved.
- Our Response: Salvation is a gift offered by God’s grace. We must respond by:
- Repenting: Acknowledging our sins, confessing them, and turning away from them.
- Faith: Trusting in Jesus as our Lord and Savior.
- Grace Through Faith: Salvation is not earned by works; it’s a free gift received through faith in Christ.
- Eternal Life: The Gospel promises forgiveness, justification, adoption, and eternal life. When we accept Christ, we become children of God, with a heavenly home and rewards awaiting us.
